This song is about an event that happens in a fiction story I wrote. It is about three young siblings testing the dangerous interior of a jungle.

This was recorded live with my band "The Auto Bons" a few years before this release. I like this track because it reminds me of good times.

Oh late one evening
when the sun sunk low
all the children looked
for a place to go
a place to inhabit but not to live
a border to breach, just to say that you did
but something came and strikes him down
and ran off with a blood curdling sound

Jack tried to explain
how the jungle came alive and damn near killed his friend

while they picked his brain

Well, it was early that evening when grandfather said,
stay from that jungle or you'll end up dead
but what he forgot to mention
was the beast that is fed
carefully controlling the light that was shed.
