In Yer Tomb 01:01
I often wonder why Why I chose this town Why I'm even around Why I plant feet down. I went into your room when you weren't around I entered your tomb When I plant my feet down In your room or in your tomb? I enter your room when you're not around in your room. In your room.

House by the sea don't look at me Come out to the coast to find your nervous host. Be my company, maybe a remedy. I don't have the strength to be a better me. It's so easy to breathe, with these fresh new lungs Forgive me when I freeze, and I can't go on. it's so easy to breathe. I want an oyster's burden or puppy love I D.P's angle, or a shrink fitting glove. I want a nail gun or a cordless T.V To toss on a ship, and head out to sea. Your hardcover half crystalized, it never opened again. Your words once hypnotized hundreds and thousands of men. In your colosseum eye, watching crowds pass by In your colosseum eye. Oh, house by the sea. Dont look at me Come out to the coast to find your nervous host. Be my company, maybe a remedy. I don't have the strength to be a better me. I want an oyster's burden or puppy love half crystallized with no help from above. I want to find myself alone in your room, it's so easy to breathe when I'm in your Tomb.

I've watched the caravan cross the desert at night. I've seen your tomb, in the pale moonlight. I've seen reflected fireflies dancing in your eyes. I've seen the edge of the world. I've seen the way the coast carve in, I've seen the coast guard win. I've seen the ancient war, that always reminds me of him. But I'm still reluctant to take a swim. I've seen the crocodile slap, redden your back I've seen towering cliffs and cowering valleys I've swam from stream to stream, without learning a thing. I've seen the world, inside of me.

I drove into town today to a marble lookout near where you stay you're city your spotless statue at this time of day And you are the tallest building and the deepest subway. And in the Hills I'm a wandering man, and you're the tree that supports my well-traveled stand and the roaring rapids that carve to sea, and the restless fish to which it feeds oh an entire ocean to thank you soon for your warm heart in its ribcage tomb. In your body, I'm a healthy vein and your nervous spine, transmitting your pain. and in your city, I'm your highways and drives and a faulty wire you've learned to despise. But to win you back would be my enterprise for those memories beyond your eyes. And I stow them away with my lonesome pride somewhere beyond your city lights. So we drove to our home that day to the spotless city where we now stay to the marble lookout that we visit every day. to the tallest buildings and the deepest subway.

Finger Tips 03:49
Well hello, and thank you for your hospitality. I know there are many others here quite like me from university crooks to the mentally derailed from chemical cooks, and all the re-jailed But for all your little booking details and what I've said, won't be true. and I've burnt my fingertips, just for you. Dont ask me why, you already know my twisted story and the lies that I sew. I was hired when you caught me and I needed the dough so let's move this along now, you oughta let me go. Oh lawyer help me please, I cant seem to find any Identity or a single friend of mine to speak on my behalf to get this judge off my back Oh hear what I say, and watch me sail away I don't mean to leave you astray, but I'll be on my way. Well hello, and thank you for your opportunity. I know there are many others here quite like me from grand theft to folks just like me. to international money laundering. But for all your little booking details and what I've said, won't be true. and I've burnt my fingertips, just for you.

Coastal Sun 03:08
Oh I felt I had overstayed on a pristine summer day caught between strokes of anatomy with some folks from the academy oh skin still warm from the coastal sun yeah its comfortable, but I got to run And this courting display really has me feeling strange I know that I'll pay to get me some strange and this courting display really has me feeling strange please excuse the way that I act, it's just the chemicals in my brain. Oh I felt I had overstayed on a pristine winter day caught between strokes of anatomy with some folks from the academy oh skin still warm from the coastal sun yeah its comfortable, but I got to run

Termites 02:49
Well, violence reminded in some wonderful time casually rewinded like the last sounds of a rhyme. Like genetic cancer haunting a family tree. Or termites in the roof above you and me. Like my dog dying on the hwy like the man why died there yesterday or his wife seeing it too like those planes that collided above the ocean outside our house or the dead they pulled ashore Like that climber that fell from the cliff we saw him airlifted into the sky with his friends down below with no reason to say goodbye. Like bloody hotel rooms or news coverage of Erewon's crash It all survives even if its in the past. But what are we going to do about those termites in the roof above you and me yeah, there's termites in the roots of your family tree. what are we going to do about those termites in the roof above you and me yeah there's termites in the roots of your family tree.

Oh, you're feeling great you're at heavens gate. and you're trial is just a play on words. oh, you're feeling great you're a renegade among the people of our world. yore ganna feel bad in your compound now when the juice has been had and they ran out for you you're all alone and you're heading home, back to your old ways. Among the people of your world Back to your old ways. Among the people of your world. Bellys full of rhymes and hymn about sin and when to clear your mind and think about your god and the people of your town, always searching all around and wondering about their body and its place in the world and where it's going to go. Try to fit into your hometown now when you've exiled yourself on religious fringe and you're all alone, and you're heading home back to your old ways Among the people of your world Back to your old ways. Among the people of your world. Bellies full of lies and sin about truth and it's placed in your world what you're going to do with your crystal ball, renegade? when you wanna go home but you're feeling betrayed because your colony collapsed and you never saw it in your crystal ball.

Mount Vesuvius blew into the sky as the allies made their way into the nazi underside and everyone's wondering why with all that ash in the sky why halt our invasion, waiting on our bombers our fly? why halt our invasion waiting on our bombers our fly? why halt our invasion waiting on our bombers our fly? A B52 covered in black A preacher ushers children from the creeping lava coming down the path. The germans are somewhere deeper inland They left some traps they took our men. But it won't bring us down we're going all the way straight to berlin for that judgment day. Why halt our invasion waiting on our bombers to fly?

To see the Desert Prince at his seductive desert lair where ships ride the hidden sands that carve the lines of your palm. Then you go to see the gypsy for you need your future told, to know who’s hand you will hold. Though, who will be the sailor that is drawn by your lonesome song? But it seems you have forgotten, I've heard it all along. A Siren in our time, and doesn't she look divine? Doesn't her skin just shine? And doesn’t her voice carry? And my friend, you would lose your compass too if she got her song into you. The waters offer land just when you need land, and you offer me your hand to free yourself from the carving of your palm. Though your clouded mind wanders and I still hear your song.

Oh late one evening when the sun sunk low all the children looked for a place to go a place to inhabit but not to live a border to breach, just to say that you did but something came and strikes him down and ran off with a blood curdling sound "it was the jungle!" Jack tried to explain how the jungle came alive and damn near killed his friend "it was the jungle!" Jack tried to explain, yeah he tried to explain while they picked his brain Well, it was early that evening when grandfather said, stay from that jungle or you'll end up dead but what he forgot to mention was the beast that is fed carefully controlling the light that was shed. "it was the jungle!" Jack tried to explain how the jungle came alive and damn near killed his friend "it was the jungle!" Jack tried to explain, yeah he tried to explain while they picked his brain

Now dont you wish that you did not exist you could walk through the walls and float on through the halls and be an entity inside of me feeding off the anxiety don't even mention me, I need privacy and If you want to talk speak quietly. Expensive jewelry and fine wine, who really has the time? She won't even look at me until I pay And even then I can't get the time of day. Now dont you wish that you did not exist you could walk through the walls and float on through the halls and be an entity inside of me feeding off the anxiety don't even mention me, I need privacy and If you want to talk speak quietly.

about

This album was in production from 2018 to 2020. The oldest track on the album, "Through the Walls," was recorded in 2015, though I do not consider this part of the production period. An earlier version of this album was released in the winter of 2019, though it was retracted and rerecorded into the album you find here today.
This album is about my personal life and is my attempt to record some of the emotions and stories that existed with me during the songwriting period. At that time I was moving a lot—I had just moved out on my own for the first time. I moved back home sometime later, and the Woolsey fire burned my family's house down. From then we were living at friend's houses and motels, only to finally settle in a new house when my dad got on his feet.
I had many friends help me with this project, and I would like to thank some of them here:
Thank you, Dillon Margolis, Gabriel Diebel, Lola Mancini, Luke Madsen, my parents, Shadoe music, Beat Lab academy, my grandmothers, and everyone who ever came to one of my shows.
